About Happy Lap

Not another activity.

Happy Lap started with a simple question. Why should needing support mean having fewer exciting things to choose from?

Why it exists

The optionshould exist.

People with disability are often offered a surprisingly narrow range of community activities.

The same venues.

The same outings.

The same safe choices.

Happy Lap was created to add something different to that list.

Not because everyone wants adrenaline.

Not because everyone loves cars.

But because the option should exist.

We believe accessibility shouldn't only apply to everyday activities. It should apply to the exciting stuff too.

Philosophy

Redefining whatinclusion feels like.

For us, inclusion doesn't mean standing nearby.

It doesn't mean getting a good view from the sidelines.

It means having the opportunity to participate in the experience itself.

Happy Lap is our way of creating another door into a world that can often feel inaccessible.

One passenger.

One lap.

One seriously good experience at a time.

What success looks like

Why “Happy Lap”?

Because that's the whole point.

It isn't about lap times.

It isn't about being the fastest.

Nobody is winning a trophy.

Maybe someone laughs the entire way around.

Maybe they immediately ask to go again.

Maybe they arrive nervous and leave proud that they tried.

If somebody gets out of that passenger seat with a smile, a story or a feeling they didn't have when they arrived, that was a Happy Lap.
